Autism Spectrum Disorder Resources

Zoo Tampa has established a partnership with the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (C.A.R.D) at USF to improve our capacity to serve people who experience difficulties with autism spectrum processing. We receive frequent training, guidance, support, and technical assistance from C.A.R.D USF. As a result, the Zoo has been designated an "autism-friendly business". ZooTampa offers Social Experience Stories (English and Spanish), Autism Friendly Zoo Map, and Distract Packs that can be used to support a successful zoo experience.

Only ADA service animals are permitted inside ZooTampa. Including animals-in-training, but this does not include pets or emotional support animals (ESAs).
