Admission is required to participate in Signature Encounters. If you have scheduled a Signature Encounter please purchase your admission ticket if you don’t already have it.
Are face masks required?
ZooTampa is principally an outdoor fresh-air experience and we do not currently require guests and staff to wear masks throughout the Zoo, however, masks may be required under specific circumstances including:
- During Signature Encounters
- While within 6 feet of one of non-domestic mammals
- While within animal buildings or habitats
In accordance with the US Department of Justice, the American Disability Act (ADA) does not provide blanket exemption to people with disabilities from complying with legitimate safety requirements necessary for safe operations. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, any guest who is not able to wear an acceptable face covering will be restricted from a small number of experiences where masks are required.
I forgot to print my tickets at home. Can I still get into the Zoo?
Yes — a printed ticket is not necessary for admittance to ZooTampa. If you have access to the confirmation email with attached tickets on your phone, or if you have your ticket barcodes saved in a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, we can scan your tickets directly from your phone.
