How to Purchase
Step 1: Collect Info for Membership
You will need provide the following information regarding the person you are purchasing a membership for:
- The member's first and last name
- Their date of birth
- Their home address
- Their email address
- Their main phone number
Step 2: Call or Visit the Zoo
Gift Memberships may be purchased over the phone with our Guest Services team at (813) 935-8552, or by visiting the ticket counter or Guest Service Kiosk on-site.
Step 3: Gift It!
You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing the gifted membership. You may forward the Print-at-Home document to the recipient, print it out, or visit us at ZooTampa for a postcard you can deliver to the member-holder which will explain their member benefits and how to redeem their membership card.

Please visit our front gate or call guest services at (813) 935-8552 to purchase a gift membership for someone else.
A gift membership becomes active on the date that the membership was purchased.
A gift membership purchased in 2022 will expire on December 31, 2023!
To set up your gift membership, present your physical or digital gift membership card to our front gate staff upon your first visit. Our staff will guide you through the membership setup.
Membership has many perks and benefits, including the following:
- Unlimited admission for all members (no blockout days) for 12 full months from the date of purchase.
- Flexibility to bring your choice of guest(s)
- FREE preferred parking
- FREE admission to seasonal events, including Creatures of the Night, Christmas in the Wild, and BUGTOPIA ( a limited time special event coming Spring 2023)

- Discounts on dining, shopping, Signature Encounters, and more!
- Early access to ZooTampa's summer camp registration
- $5 off admission for visiting friends and relatives.
- FREE beer during Member Happy Hour from 1pm-3pm at the Beer & Wine Garden
- Discounted admission to over 150 zoos and aquariums in the U.S. See participating zoos and aquariums.
