Caring for animals at the Zoo takes more than just Zoology! It is a combination of many scientific fields–the physics of animal movement, the chemistry of specialized medicines and diets, and the ecology of animal interactions and relationships. Did you know that our rhinos lend us an ear so that we can take a blood sample? Or that our elephants show us their feet in order to get pedicures? All of the training we do at ZooTampa helps us better care for our animals. Pre-K Camps

This camp is for children that have completed pre-K at the end of this school year (May 2024), will be entering kindergarten at the start of next school year (August 2024), and have birthdays between 9/1/18 and 8/31/19.
