Is your organization looking for a wildly-fun way to get involved with the Tampa community? Consider volunteering with ZooTampa! Our volunteer department will work with your organization to select a project that benefits your team, as well as our own. Volunteer opportunities at the Zoo could include clean-ups, painting, landscaping, earth moving, or other projects.

River Clean-Up

Looking for a way to get outside and help the environment? Get involved with your Tampa Bay community by making our local ecosystem a cleaner, safer place, all while helping to conserve and protect Florida wildlife.
Join ZooTampa, in partnership with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for our clean-up in Lowry Park on Sunday, November 28 at 8:30am!
Located along the Hillsborough River, Lowry Park is home to many native animals including manatees, alligators, hawks, owls, and ibis. This location is open to boaters; kayaks and canoes are also welcome during the cleanup!
Clean-Up activities will begin and end at the Boat Ramp in Lowry Park. Parking is free.

Program Requirements
- All participants must sign a liability waiver in advance.
- Volunteers of all ages are welcome, however, participants under the age of 12 are not permitted on the roadway.
- One adult must be present for every 5 youth in a group or family.
River Clean-Up

Our ZooTampa Volunteer Team holds river clean-up events with volunteer groups periodically throughout the year.
Program Requirements
- Volunteers of all ages are welcome, however, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
